(a boundary in space time beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer)
This work hopes to address the idea of time as an element of linear progression and the inevitable conclusion that time (and hence, the universe) must have had a beginning. Humanity developed the most diverse disciplines to try to pin down that event in time where all begun. From science to religious studies this crucial moment in the universe as we know it seems to always hit the limits of understanding, beyond which it is impossible to ‘see’.
In this work I will investigate two areas that define the beginning of time and the universe in different terms: theology and astronomy.
